Starting my career in theatre as a freshman in high school, I have been involved with some sort of theatre ever since. Through college I studied and participated in technical theatre. This includes but is not limited to set design, lighting design and some sound design. Throughout college and after I was mainly working on and involved with set and lighting design. After graduating college I worked a short period of time for a lighting company in Los Angeles, California, and then worked for Knott's Berry Farm as a Lighting Technician.
While working a Knott's I started my teaching career at Moreno Valley High School. I spent 13 years teaching Theatre Arts to 9-12 grade students while also teaching mathematics. While teaching at Moreno Valley High School I was also the Technical Director at North High School in Riverside, California.
Since moving to Oregon from California I am still teaching but have also been a Set Designer for The Grand Theatre in Salem and Gallery Theatre in McMinnville.
